Perhaps “deceived by” should have been “deceive in” since the cheater is the one doing the burning.

Hey Bill,
All those comments about speed of response remind me of the days we used to play You Don’t Know Jack at TMI retreats. I knew that half the time you used to hit the button before you knew that you knew the answer. But most of the time you did know the answer. Now I see
that the You Don’t Know Jack is reissued. Can’t wait.

Sue, great to hear from you! I did often buzz in before knowing the answer, but I would always skim the question to determine whether or not I would be likely to know it. Others didn’t want to buzz in until they had read the questions and the answers. My strategy turned out to be more successful. And thanks for your comment about the blog; I remember you always had a philosophical bent!
