Bill: not so wondrous, as these days I don't sleep alot. I am quite amazed that you got one in so early. Did you compose it on the way home?

Neel: I didn't add the exclamation point as I was still a little sleepy and groggy from the night before (and unfortunately nursing a cold).

I can't believe that I've gotten so many in a row. The planets must be turning wrong.

JOINT is correct. Way to go, Ro!

I kept Ro out late last night, Neel, so it's a wonder she made it to the riddle this morning at all.

For the same reason, it's also a wonder that there was a riddle to make it to.

Line 1: Joint is slang for a nightclub or prison, Spike Lee usually refers to his each of his movies as "A Spike Lee Joint"

Line 2: The knee is a joint, and that's where those two bones meet.

Line 3: Actions taken by the House and the Senate together can be described by the adjective "joint" - e.g., a joint resolution, joint session, etc.

Line 4: The Joint Chiefs of Staff
