And an honorable mention to my cousin Brian who sent me the correct answer at 9:01am, but "didn't want to spoil the fun" by getting it so early.

For the record, my position is that responses can be posted here at any time, and people can decide for themselves whether or not they want to spoiled by clicking on comments.  That's why I put the update in the post, as a warning, but not the solution.

A new riddle will be posted next Thursday morning. In the meantime, feel free to enjoy the rest of the blog.</description>
