I meant no offense, but based on <a href=http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/df/Bowling_action.png/556px-Bowling_action.png target=_blank rel="nofollow">this picture</a> from Wikipedia, bowling in cricket looks a lot like what we Yanks call a throw. But I'll be the first to admit that we Americans don't know cricket at all, so if you'd like to explain what a bowl is in cricket, I'll be happy to write an alternate line for the riddle.
