Thursday Morning Riddle

I’m the horse of a legend; a cloud’s hopeful lining;
A second-place medal; though metal worth mining;
The twenty-fifth year; statistician divining;
A pirate from prose; or fine flatware for dining.

Who am I?

  1. Asher Says:

    Silver

  2. Bill Says:

    SILVER is correct. Way to go, Asher!

    The statistician is Nate Silver. The pirate is Long John Silver. It’s best not to get the two mixed up.

  3. Asher Says:

    I didn’t think of Nate Silver. Thanks for that.
