		<description>Thanks for the comment!  I enjoyed writing this piece, and was particularly happy with that line.  Not only is it funny, but it also highlights just what an amazing feat Tammet pulled off.

I wrote this at the end of my first month of blogging.  Now, I'm in the middle of my fourth month, and your comment points out something very interesting to me.  All of the archives will continue to be available for as long I blog, which I'll continue to do as long as I'm having fun.

This means that the longer I do this, the more postings there will be for new readers to browse through.  This means more potential conversations and of greater variety.

I'm having fun now.</description>

In fact, Tammet holds the European record for reciting the digits of pi from memory, rattling off 22,514 digits without error in just over 5 hours. In my very best attempt, I have not been able to recite half that many.

Made me laugh SO LOUD and hard that a colleague came into my office wondering what could possibly be so funny....</description>
