The riddles are anagrams of each other.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>While incumbent, I one in one hundred remain;<br \/>\nStates elect me to allocate funds I&#8217;ll sustain;<br \/>\nI look trustworthy, work&#8217;s can-do, let me explain;<br \/>\nI thumped beatable foes, held the latest campaign.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Who am I? <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Shift around the letters, and it becomes:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>I&#8217;m that act when enlisted men seem to rebel;<br \/>\nAim to mutinies, or if when captured you tell;<br \/>\nThat pained book, as Ann Coulter&#8217;s expecting, should sell;<br \/>\nLike that infamous Benedict Arnold as well.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Who am I? <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The answers, of course, will be anagrams of each other as well.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE: Both riddles solved by Annalisa.
