Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>From <em>Coriolanus<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>They said they were an-hungry; sigh&#8217;d forth proverbs:<br \/>\nThat hunger broke stone walls; that dogs must eat;<br \/>\nThat meat was made for mouths; that the gods sent not<br \/>\nCorn for the rich men only. With these shreds<br \/>\nThey vented their complainings; which being answer&#8217;d,<br \/>\nAnd a petition granted them, a strange one,<br \/>\nTo break the heart of generosity,<br \/>\nAnd make bold power look pale, they threw their caps<br \/>\nAs they would hang them on the horns o&#8217; the moon,<br \/>\nShouting their emulation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Shift around the letters, and it becomes:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The Iowa votes were hyped this week.<\/p>\n<p>Fifteen worthy hotshots together hoped to get a trophy: the state&#8217;s trust.<\/p>\n<p>Northerner Barack Obama won among the eight Democrats, with the wealthy Senator Edwards and dethroned Hillary Clinton behind. <\/p>\n<p>Southerner Mike Huckabee won among the seven Republicans, leading smug Mitt Romney and haughty Fred Thompson.<\/p>\n<p>The holders of the highest party totals might run a harsh slog against one another in ten months.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><!--b0b8406fb0f6e0300d8de327ed7b2e52--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2008 Iowa caucuses, held earlier this week, prompted me to think about what Shakespeare had to say about populist politics and corn.
